    It's funny how he is saying that altered states or experience of timelessness is the fragmented functioning of the brain, rather than the whole and coherent functioning of the brain, because the waking state is not by any means a balanced and comprehensive brain state. But I notice mushrooms on that "Episode 10" graphic in the end :)

    As an old timer, this makes me remember the old William Hurt movie "Altered States" from 1980. If you haven't seen it, or seen it lately, you ought to check it out. There are several torrent options for it if you need them. (I'm downloading it myself right now.)
