Advanced Renamer Remove after word method

    Just thought I'd share this trick (So I also don't forget it)

    Using Advanced Renamer to remove all text after a word

    1936-03-03 P00034-topaz-faceai-sharpen.png

    Add and select "Remove pattern"

    Put Pattern: -topaz*

    This will result in 1936-03-03 P00034.png


    So it's very handy to rename a batch of files back to the originals to compare any missed in other batch jobs as many don't tell you which ones failed so the best bet is to backup the output folder, name them back using above method and then copy the originals to a backup folder, copy the output folder over the top of the backups overwriting all existing, then once it is done only the existing files will be selected, press delete and you are left with the ones it missed/skipped/errored on.

    Yeah the solution is easier than the method to select the un processed files :p
