Greetings! I've been a huge fan of this project forever, since the LastXP days, and have decided to take a leap and actually try to do something original with it - but I don't know WTF I'm doing. I have a small IT services company, and I have been painstakingly applying customized GUI settings for my users. I think the value-add of having some of the visual annoyances of Win10 dealt with are worth it. I want to make a custom start menu based off the ssTek system, but I don't honestly know enough about how it works, only that it's awesome, and it's the thing I miss the most about being able to use Linux as my default desktop - the OpenDesktop standard is something Windows should freaking have an equivalent of by now, but doesn't. So if I wanted to learn the mechanics of how ssControlPanel determines where things go and what icons to use for them, where do I start and what help file do I need to read?
http://sites.vergitek.com/sstek/help/ssTek.html http://forum.lastos.org/index.php?forums/setups-development-tools.161/ Install SetupS and look at this file: C:\Program Files\SetupS.SendTo\MenuDefaults.ini and C:\Program Files\SetupS.SendTo\Category.ini This will get you started, then you can ask specific questions...
