I am getting it with the following:

    i7 4790K
    32GB Corsair Vengeance 2133mhz RAM
    1x 512GB Samsung XP941
    1x 1TB 7200 rpm drive
    nVidia 980M video card
    Killer 1525 AC wireless
    15.6" 4K QFHD Samsung Display

I will write a review with pictures once it gets in and I get the OS installed. I am going to go with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Thank you! I hope it lasts - because it is for graduate school in Germany. I start April 7.

    LOL Trouba!

I figured that if I needed a powerful laptop for running a ton of VMs and a bunch of other BS, instead of going workstation that I should get a gamer system. This is because gamer systems are generally as or more powerful than workstations and often costs less. Have you seen the difference in cost between a nVidia 9xx card and the Quadro line?!? DANG!

It all depends on what you need.

For example, even though the Quadro line is way more expensive, if you need DX 12, then you are "stuck" with a 9xx card because there are no DX 12 drivers for the Quadro card, only DX 11. But then that should probably only matter to games anyway, I would think.

Well, here is the baseline 3DMark score before OCing. :)
