Parted Magic I don't know why I didn't post a thread about this earlier, but I found this Live Environment and it's able to recover and repair HDD's better than others, I forgot the name of it and when I searched the forum to get the name again I noticed: https://partedmagic.com/ Anyway, I hope this helps someone else recover a thought to be lost HDD, it has some powerful tools.
Yes, I've used this many times in the past, and you're right; it's one of the best. I keep a copy of the CD in my toolkit wallet. (We even have a copy in the BootRack)
