I recently got this email with the title:

    Code:
24 Hours If you have any questions or want to stop the auto-renewal service, please get in touch with the help center
supposedly from Mcafee asking me to contact customer service if i wish to cancel automatic payment of AU$419 for my annual subscription.

The number is 6139015xxxx meaning it is Melbourne Australia which is more likely a redirect call to some call centre overseas.

    I immedialy became suspicious when:

    a) the email is from
    Code:
     badrilalparjaptbadrilalparjapt@gmail.com
    a weird email address,

    b) the fact that i don't have a Mcafee subscription and

    c) the invoice did not have a name or address on it.

Looking up the Mcafee website here
Where they have a List of legitimate McAfee emails.
    What did i do?
I reported the scam to cybercrime in Australia.
    report here

I'm sure that you would have something similar in your own country.

So if you ever get a suspicious email always look up on the offical website of their emails and never ever call the numbers that are sent in the email. Most of all NEVER ever give out your personel details such as emails, phone numbers, birthdates, credit card details, identity information and bank account details.
Another tip is if you answer a call and you hear a call centre in the background 99% of the time it is a scammer calling.

As you could have the possibility of identity theft where accounts and credit cards are created in your name.
    Losing lots of money.

So lets stamp out these scammer scum.
