    Have any of you played this game? I am going to be required to play it as part of my next class and was wondering if you have some tips for me to use to help me do well in it.

    I would love to get the book for the course - I HATE large, online manuals. I would love it in epub or PDF.

    Here is a link to the book:

    Thank you so much for any help you can provide.

    I have been looking at various websites for tips but they seem to be all over the place on how to do well. I imagine Reddit will be the best of these but what are your thoughts on the others? Remember that some of these are for previous installments of the game and we are on the 2020 edition now.

    Sorry if I was any good at the business side of things I'd still have half owned the business I made that is still running 20 years later;

    I hated the tax side of things, and talking to customers over the phone, so once my startup support was complete (2 years) I just sold my share of it for $800. Obviously it was a good business plan or it would have stopped running years ago. Anyway, good luck with your class, you have prepared for it and if you win or lose you will learn something from the game, so don't stress about it, it's how you handle the problems that make the biggest difference in the long run and I am sure your teacher(s) will see that anyway.

    BTW I was the G in SG Speedy Computing

    No, it is an online business simulation game that a lot of Business Schools use. It isn't like real life. :(

    I knew what it was, but if you think real life is totally different to the game then that game would be a waste of time to master, just play it instead, find out how to trick it into best results - you can't do that in real life business (well most people).

    Actually the game has some unrealistic ideas that would cause a business to go under if you did them in real life. The problem with "playing" the game is that it is 50% of our grade this coming term. I want to get as much info as I can before class starts on Wednesday so that the rest of the team (there will be 4 people per team) will actually do what is smart versus the normal "trial and error".
