Can any of you recommend a zip password recovery tool? Friend forgot the password they used on their backups.
If you find a tool like that, let me know, I have been searching since 2000 for it. Winrar was good for adding a text message in the properties so you can read , password also, just can not remember how to do it.
It's honestly not worth the effort, I used software to do this once, it took 16 days and it worked on one file, but not the others, so unless you don't mind running a PC continuous at high CPU for weeks, it's like the password is lost otherwise.
