Last11 v4 x64This release is inspired by the Lite Windows 11 releases that have been getting about, but it is still quite a large release as I offer 2 boot.wim's so you can install it with a standard PE on PC's with less than 2gb of memory. I have removed the System Recovery from installing to C:\, but offer a way to install my Live PE instead (from the ssWPI), or you can just boot off USB when required as System Recovery is available from the Pinned items in the LivePE now. This release does NOT have Dot.NET 3.5 enabled by default, as it consumes lots of ram and slows down the HDD just after a fresh install and randomly when it rebuilds Cache files... If you have software/games that require this, windows 10 and 11 will ask to download it off the internet and automatically install it. Widgets are removed from this release as they also consume a large amounts of RAM even when your not using it. SmartScreen and System Guard as well as Defender are constantly scanning your system for virus and malware, these have been disabled, so make sure you DO NOT download and run Malware off the internet on this OS (Or any OS really). Loving last11 v4. Last AIO I installed, had intermittent "This PC" shortcut not responsive so I used file explorer all the time. With this new version that bug is gone. Thank you for all your team does for us to enjoy these new releases.
Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with Last11 with us, I knew there was some bugs in older releases - but not really many more than were in the vanilla OS's, just different It is getting very refined now, just in time for Windows 12 to come along and make it all broken again - Same happened with XP for me.
You need to use Tor Browser to view it, that ignores the Security issues as it has it's own methods for protecting you. It's just the release, so no biggie - doesn't have any replies or anything.
I really like this, thankyou very much. Never thought i would move to 11 but generrally if it's made by a small handful from here it can't be bad lol. I had 2 issues with iare e a game killer for me, when playing large intensive games I can't do anything on my 2nd monitor as i have lots of troubles like lagging and freezing (Diablo 4 is the worst. Secondly playing older games like Civ 3 are ............. forget it. But once again thanks, your hard work is appreciated
According to steam the specs for Sid Meier's Civilization® III are quite low compared to modern computers of today. Perhaps use a more stable version of win10 as win11 is at the bleeding edge.
