In Jan 2007 I released a Mega Games Pack v1, it was the first collection of pre cracked games that was a single ISO able to burn to a 4.7GB DVD, it contained 407 games, many are still included in this collection. I went on to release a 2nd DVD with 187 other games in Apr 2007, followed by 185 in Aug 2007. I released MGP 4 with the first ever ppGames in Nov 2007 then in In Jan 2008 I remade all the MGP 1 to 3 games into a "best of" single DVD release that used ppGames instead of SFX (RAR) archives. In Jun 2008 I made MGP 5 (158 Games), Sep 2008 MGP 6 (146 Games), Feb 2009 I released multiple packs, MGP 7 (198 Games), MGP 8 (113 Games), MGP9 (47 Games), MGP 10 (25 Games). No, it includes updated versions and patched to work with Win 7 & Win 10, many of the games don't by default, using compatibility and using PEExplorer to make requireAdministrator in the manifest resource (or make the resource myself). As well as being resorted to include new Categories, full descriptions and screenshots. No, no. I knew that you had put in a whole lot of hard work into this, and the vast majority of the games were new to the packs or had major rework. I was just trying to ask if there was any reason to have any of the older MGP's, or does this one completely replace all of the previous ones? I don't know how many of them were in the previous packs, but from reading the above referenced thread, it seems you have left out 320 games at 175GB, which is perfectly understandable, and there were probably others that didn't work for one reason or another. So which, if any, of the older MGP's are worth having?
I Am keeping them for archival reasons, but no one else needs to keep the old packs at all, There will be a few other games in the older packs, but most of them will be of poor quality, use shockwave/flash or be incompatible with new OS's and not worth my time making them work. A few are just finder games and the old fassioned finders had no story or reason for finding thing... I felt they can go find their own crap - why is it our job If you love a series of games then it's best to get the non ppGame versions so that the addons/DLC's work as well as online features (if applicable) and to support devs so they continue to make more games you like, but generally the games included will fill many MANY hours of spare time when you might otherwise be sleeping or watching TV, I focused on Puzzle games and RPG games the most as these have to most replay-ability and require more brain power than a shoot 'em up or button masher game - although I did include a few that came with good characters/interesting stories or good graphics and humor. That said, MGP 7 to 10 had large games that are not in these packs, so maybe them?

(Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker) movies: Airplane!, Police Squad!/Naked Gun, Hot Shots!, Mafia! I've got them all on DVD; but now I'd like to collect them all as XviD or MKV It's interesting that you mention Top Secret!... that one has had some interesting challenges collecting because I've encountered slightly different versions/cuts of that.
Yes, but the problem is the televised version on the one hand added scenes that made more sense of the movie -- and that I wished they'd kept in the theatrical version; but then deleted other scenes or changed dialog that were considered too "mature" (watershed) at the time and were far less hilarious.

Not that I know of (of either). And it's not that I liked the televised version any better as a whole... only that that version had included some deleted scenes that I wish were included in the theatrical version is all -- especially the guitar-crushing kissing fireplace scene -- they soooo belonged with the hilarious ridiculousness of the rest of the film.

Doesn't matter, The MGP release wasn't very popular with the masses, I'll just assume that everyone if happy to casual game on their mobile devices, swapping candy pieces else FPS on a console... I will be making one last thing that I wont make public, you guys will be welcomed to it tho, it'll be the last EMUlation pack. Then I guess I'll just tidy up my stuff and wait and see - like everyone else seems to do.

I'm assuming the likes of DOSBox, ScummVM, MESS, etc. And any plans to include even more retro games? (I noticed there were a few with your latest MGP)

I actually made ssWPI support including Emulators inside it, so it's only gonna use ssWPI as a rom launcher, my plan was to do a top 50 for each console (where size allows) and then my own personal favorites I grew up playing that I really want to play again one day (I will be including One Man And His Droid.d64 as that game was one I spent way to long solving, back when I was 7 or 8), it came with no instructions and robots that can do 4 different things, turned out the goal was to capture (rounding them up) each robot in the order given on the left side, quite an amazing game for a c64. I will include support for DOSBox, SCUMMvm and a range of other emulators, I'll also include Mario, Zelda and Final Fantasy games and my fav PSP games I have played, so there will be a lot of surprises, but I am willing to listen to suggestions and or any collections you have I can include with minimal efforts with the ssWPI taking the brunt of the workload. I'll base it off a Keyboard and mouse only, but will include options for USB gamepad pre-configured.
You using MESS -- which has come along way, btw -- for the consoles? Does that also mean that ssWPI must be installed and the required launcher for those roms? Sounds similar to what I had done with DOSBox, ScummVM, ResidualVM, etc. by having them installed separately by themselves as ppGames (Emulation category) instead.
